That is, $1000 for the primary and $1000 for the general election. If anyone wishes to give
$2000, the money must be "earmarked" at $1000 for each election.
-- Contributions of over $200 must include the person's name, address, and occupation or
employer. Contributions of $200 or under must include just the name and address.
-- Cash contributions must not exceed $100 and anonymous cash contributions are limited to $50.
-- PAC contributions are limited to $5000 per election cycle. Corporate or association PACS must be registered.
-- Contributions from foreign nationals or foreign corporate entities are prohibited.
Permanent legal residents with "green cards" may contribute.
-- Contributions from domestic corporations are prohibited. Contributions from businesses that are
sole proprietorships or partnerships are allowed.
-- Contributions to political candidates are not tax-deductible.
